As the tills are directly behind this expanse of floor to ceiling glass, the glare from the sun was making it very difficult to see the screens. Both staff and shoppers were continuously having to squint, making it extremely uncomfortable to work and to shop.
Solartek stripped the old safety film that was applied and fitted Solartek Combined Safety/Solar Film along with frosted manifestation dots.
This has cut out enough of the suns glare to make it much more comfortable to work and shop behind, in addition to ensuring that all glass meets Health and Safety Glazing Laws. The frosted dots make the glass apparent as required under the DDA Regulations.
